By car:
From Salzburg:
Take the Exit Salzburg Nord to reach the B156 leading to Oberndorf and
Braunau. Just after Oberndorf turn left towards Ostermiething / Trimmelkam.
After 10km you pass through the village of Wildshut and turn right to Trimmelkam
/ Franking just behind a gas station. In Trimmelkam turn off the 2nd left
following a small sign to Ernsting. At the sign marking the beginning of Ernsting you turn right into a country lane and look for a parking-place.
From Munich:
Take Salzburg motorway, exit Traunstein, on to Waging, Tittmoning. In
Tittmoning cross the border into Austria, go on to Ostermiething.
From Burghausen:
Towards Ostermiething up to Tarsdorf and Hofweiden. Behind Hofweiden
you take a small road to the left to Ernsting. It’s signposted. In Ernsting
you cross the intersection and after 1 km at the end of the village,
you turn left into a country lane and look for a parking-place.
From Ostermiething:
On the main road leading from Oberndorf to Burghausen/Ach there is a
pedestrian crossing – Sparkasse on the right –where you turn right at the
sign Seminarhaus Ernsting. You follow the steep road upwards, past the nursery,
then take the next small, steep road on the right. In Ernsting you turn right at
the first intersection and after 200 m you turn left into a country lane and look for a parking-place.
By train:
Local train (Lokalbahn) from Salzburg, departs to Lamprechtshausen every
hour. You change at Bürmoos for the train to Trimmelkam (terminal).
The ride takes about 55 minutes altogether. Please give us a short call before
taking the local train and we will be there to pick you up.
